High-quality dehydrated animal protein
Only Italian suppliers provide the animal protein sources used in our recipes.
We use only dehydrated animal ingredients in the production of Naxos kibble. We believe that there is no advantage in using fresh meat, as during the drying phase of the kibble, all the ingredients used in the production process lose their water content and become dehydrated.
Good reasons to choose dehydrated meat:
Dehydrated animal ingredients of the same weight have approximately 4 times the protein value of fresh ingredients.
Dehydrated animal ingredients do not require refrigeration, which simplifies storage during transport and in the factory, reducing the risk of bacterial contamination.
Dehydrated animal ingredients often require fewer transport and storage resources, contributing to a lower environmental impact.

We believe in the power of prebiotics
We have incorporated foods naturally rich in FOS and MOS prebiotics into our formulations. Prebiotics are 'food additives' whose purpose is to modify the intestinal microbiota by creating unfavourable conditions for the proliferation of pathogens, with the ultimate aim of strengthening the immune system.
